Submitting Images: Showing monthly assignments is a chance for the members to show their photos of the monthly project. You can submit up to 8 images prior to the meeting via email to Ed Wisbrun or if you don't get a chance, you can bring them on a thumb drive the night of the meeting. If you do, please come a little earlier so he can load them on the computer before the meeting starts. If you have questions, send an email to Ed.
Images need to be re-sized to 800 x 600 for landscape or 600 x 800 for portrait. The club projector can only display in that resolution. They can be either jpg or bmp format. All files need to be renamed so they can be stored & found on the club computer.
Use the format: last name, first initial and number them 001, 002, etc. For example: John Smith = SmithJ001.jpg to SmithJ008.jpg Submitting Slide Shows: Slide show presentations created with the executable .exe format are the most compatible. Programs such as ProShow Gold, Mediashow, Pictures to Exe, Photo Jam save in this format. Power Point with ppt extension must go in a separate directory and have been missed in the past.
Shows need to be saved in the following file format: Last name, first initial, project name. For example for "water" or "sports" it would be - SmithJwater.exe or SmithJsports.exe.
In order to give everyone who wants to participate a chance, please be considerate of time and keep your show's length to 90 seconds - a minute and a half. You must be in attendance for your images and shows to be shown.
Bonus: If you use a voice over in your show, you get an extra door prize ticket.
In addition, tables are available for display of monthly projects that are printed out, field trip photos and personal portfolios that you may wish to share with members.
